Salad-e Shirazi:
Ingredients
medium tomatoes, 4
small cucumbers, 2
medium onion, one
fresh lime juice, 3-4 spoonfuls
virgin olive oil, 2-3 spoonfuls
fresh mint, 200 grams (optional)
salt
black pepper
Method
Wash and peel cucumbers. Wash tomatoes and mint. Peel onion. Chop cucumbers, tomatoes, and onion very finely, and mix. Chop mint very finely and add. Add fresh lime juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and serve.

flank steak w/ carriage house sauce
Ingredients
1 flank steak ( about 1 1/2 lbs)
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 tbs Dijon mustard
2 tbs soy sauce
2 tbs olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp ground black pepper
Method
Score steak on both sides; set aside. In a small bowl, whisk together lemon juice, sugar, mustard, soy sauce, oil, garlic, and pepper. Brush steak all over with mustard mixture. Lay steak on grill at medium-high heat. Grill, turning once, and basting several times with mustard mixture until done to your liking (about 10 to 12 minutes for medium rare). Cut meat across grain into thin slanting slices.

sweet and sour turkey
Ingredients
1 pkg (8oz) Green Giant Harvest-Fresh Frozen Cut Green Beans
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 tbs corn starch
1/3 cup vinegar
2 cans (8oz) chunk pineapple in juice, drained (reserve 1/3 cup liquid
1 tbs margarine
1 1/2 cups cooked cubed turkey or chicken
1 cup cherry tomato halves
2 cups hot cooked brown or regular rice
Method
Cook green beans as directed on package; drain. In medium saucepan, combine brown sugar and corn starch. Stir in vinegar, reserved pineapple liquid, and margarine. Cook until sauce boils and thickens, stirring constantly. Stir in pineapple chunks, turkey (or chicken), tomato halves, and green beans. Continue to cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally. Serve over hot cooked rice.

grilled coriander-pepper chops
Ingredients
4 boneless pork chops, about 1-inch thick
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tbs ground coriander
1 tbs coarsely ground black pepper
1 tbs brown sugar
3 tbs soy sauce
Method
Combine all ingredients in a self sealing bag; seal bag and marinate at least 30 minutes. Prepare medium-hot coal bed (medium heat on gas grill). Remove pork from marinade, discarding marinade, and grill chops over direct heat for 12 to 15 minutes, turning once.

Ingredients
4 (4oz) boneless pork loin chops, 3/4-inch thick
1/4 cup reduced calorie Italian salad dressing
1/4 cup BBQ sauce
1 tsp chili powder
Method
Blend salad dressing, BBQ sauce, and chili powder in shallow dish. Add pork (trimmed of all fat); turn to coat chops. Cover; marinate 30 minutes to overnight in refrigerator. Heat non-stick skillet over medium high heat until hot. Drain pork, reserving marinade. Brown both sides of pork in skillet; add reserved marinade. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to low; simmer 5 to 10 minutes.

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
4 tubes refrigerator biscuits
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 3/4 cups sugar, separated
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup evaporated milk
3/4 cup butter
Method
Mix cinnamon with 3/4 cup sugar. Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces and roll in sugar cinnamon mix. Layer with nuts in tube pan. Mix 1 cup sugar, brown sugar, evaporated milk and butter in saucepan; bring to boil and pour over the biscuits. Bake at 350 degree F. for 30 minutes or until it looks done.
