Madison Kanner’s film ‘Madisons’ is set to receive a second season, as producer Madi Ganesan has announced the film will be returned for a second run in 2018.
The film is the latest addition to Ganesans anthology of short films, which is based on her mother’s life story.
It was adapted into a film, ‘Madisandhan’, in 2014 and it is a film about the struggles of a mother trying to raise her three sons.
The series is also based on the life of Kannada writer and poet Anna Kanner.
It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2014.
The first season of the anthology aired in 2019.
The second season aired in 2021 and then again in 2022.
Ganesan told Variety that she is excited about returning to the series.
“Madison Kanners’ films are all about the stories of people,” she said.
“When I’m writing a script, I have to go into my own head and work on the story and not in the movies.
I have a hard time with the movies, because I can’t relate to what they’re saying.
I just have to make a film that is more than the script.”
