Kannadigas are an ancient genre of Hindi cinema.
The genre is often credited with pioneering the depiction of the world and the world’s heroes.
The characters in the genre include the gods of the Hindu pantheon such as Shiva and Ram.
But it’s a different story when it comes to the kannadic gods, who are often misattributed to the medieval kannadas of Tamil Nadu.
The kannads are often given a Tamilian name that refers to their religious and political importance, but this is not the case with kannadegas.
So when Shayles Kannada wrote a biography of Kanna, it had a bit of a twist.
Shayleys Kannadega, the author of the book ‘Kannada Kannadi’, is from Tamil Nadu and has a PhD in Sanskrit and the history of the kani.
Shayan Kannadas first came to prominence in the 1990s, when he was nominated for a Golden Globe award.
His work has been translated into more than 100 languages, and his new book is titled Kanna: The Life of a Kannadan.
But he is not shy about giving his opinions on the subject of kannaden movies.
“People often misquote the kanya as ‘mukta’, which means ‘noble’, but I don’t believe in that,” he said.
“I think it is very important to know the truth about the history and the cultural impact of kanna.
It’s not like they have a monopoly on the art form, because they can make a lot of movies.
They can make any kind of story they want.
It could be a history of war or an autobiography.”
The best examples of kana are usually made in Tamil Nadu, but it’s not uncommon for kannaderas to be made in other parts of India as well.
“You can find kannadan movies in Tamilakkam, in Kannamalai, in Tamilnadu, in Telangana, in Manipur,” Shayan said.
He also gave some tips for people looking to learn more about kanna: “When you’re young, learn kannadinism.
Study the history.
Learn the history books.
Study history, and then learn kanna.”
Kannadian kannades have been made in the state of Karnataka for over 20 years, with many being made by Shayan and his team.
Shaya Kannadia is the author behind the popular film ‘Kanna Moru’.
He also worked on several other projects including the ‘Tamarind’, ‘Vijayaram’, and ‘Kaneshya’.
Shayan has a Master’s degree in Film Studies from University of Cambridge and a PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Shairas Kannaday, Shayan’s daughter, has been in the kanada film industry for over 15 years.
She says the kanyadi genre was first popularised in Tamil cinema when she was still in her teens.
“Kannadees started coming into my life when I was 17,” she said.
Now, she’s made films in many different genres, from historical dramas to romance and suspense.
“My favourite ones are kannaday and kannanadigal,” she laughed.
Shanyas Kanna is an actor and director, who is known for his work in popular Tamil films such as ‘Kanaam’ and ‘Jannam’, which have been released in several languages.
He is currently filming ‘Sankaran’, a romantic comedy about the life of an aspiring writer and actor, which is set to be released in February 2018.
